The Castleton Sports fields are maintained by community volunteers for community. We are in no way funded by the municipality.
It came to our attention that a user was walking their dog at the fields during a recent private rental and chose not to clean up after the pet. Thankfully someone in the wedding party noticed the “pile” and cleaned it up before the bride arrived. Be respectful of other users, Poop & Scoop, a bag dispenser and garbage receptacle for this purpose are located near the sun shelter. No excuses!!!
