All age groups have been contacted over the weekend. If you HAVE NOT heard from them please contact email@example.com Schedules are still to be determined but will likely start next week. All teams (except U4/U6) are practicing this Thursday, May 23, U12 at 6:00 and U8/10/15/18 at 7:00. U4/U6 will start next Tuesday, May 28 at 6:00 p.m. Schedules will be posted here when they are received
There are still spots left on most teams if you wish to register your child for soccer (no baseball offered this year). The protocol now will be to get the forms HERE fill them out and then email them to firstname.lastname@example.org. Then send your e-transfer to that same address noting the child you are registering. DO NOT USE the online registration on this website.. It was a test and has not gone any further. I will speak to our webmaster to have it removed.
We are proud to support Be A Donor month. Locally organ recipient David Mitchell is spearing heading the campaign to encourage people to register for organ and tissue donation. David received an organ donation in 2015, and without that donation he wouldn’t be alive today spreading awareness. Death is never easy but your donation could save another life. Register at Be A Donor or at Trillium Gift of Life Network
AMENDED REGISTRATION FORMS found here We have decided to offer a discount for soccer registration. To all parents who have registered, we will issue a refund for the difference once we confirm your child will have a team to play on. We understand that our fee was slightly higher than other centres due largely to our volunteer fee, which was refundable after 8 hours of volunteer work. We are also parents and understand everyone has busy schedules, to that end we have reduced our fee. We still need volunteers and welcome you to help in whatever way you can.
Since we do not have a coordinator if your child would like to play baseball, organizers from Warkworth Minor baseball tell us they still have roster space in most age divisions. For more information go to their website Warkworth Minor Baseball They also have a Facebook page for quicker response time, found HERE
UPDATE: We still have not had anyone come forward to take over the baseball coordinators position. At our meeting last night our long-time minor ball co-coordinator announced he has decided to step down. If we are to run a minor ball program this year, we need a new co-coordinator. The program can be either softball or hardball, noting that our fields are set up for softball. IF the new co-coordinator chooses to take the hardball route, Bantam age players and up will have to use another field to host games in the past this has been in Cobourg. Please contact…
